Job Description

A well know, national organisation whove seen impressive growth in their ten-year history are looking for an Interim Financial Accountant to provide support for a 6 month period. With a March year end, theyre looking for a qualified Financial Accountant with strong year end experience who can start on short notice.Main responsibilities include:

  • Preparing annual financial statements
  • Being the main point of contact for the Auditors, preparing several key financial statement notes and schedules
  • Producing accurate financial reports and accounts in line with annual time lines
  • Ensuring accurate completion of annual corporation tax returns, and timely submission
  • Occasional oversight of the Accounts Payable function, providing guidance and supervision at busy times
    • The successful candidate will:
  • Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with demonstrable post-qualification experience in a similar role
  • Have excellent year end financial accounting experience
  • Have an understanding of statutory accounts preparation, FREM and IFRS
  • Be experienced embedding and improving financial controls within a complex business
