Job Description

Are you an adaptable Financial Accountant with an interest in working in a well-known not-for-profit organisation Are you interested in a role where you will provide valuable support during an exciting transition within a finance team Are you interestedin working for a passionate and prestigious organisation If yes, read on!Robertson Bell are partnering with a prestigious organisation in Central London who are seeking an Interim Financial Accountant to join them for an intital 12 month contract. Reporting into the Financial Controller this role will provide crucial supportto the financial accounting processes whilst the team navigate through a systems implementation.The Interim Financial Accountantwill:

  • Have ownership for ensuring accurate and timely completion of balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Support the Financial Controller with completing statutory accounts at year end.
  • Provide supporting documentation and schedules during audit to effectively respond to queries.
  • Oversee the work of the transactional team and provide backfill when team members are working on the implementation of the finance system.
The successful candidate will be:
  • Actively studying towards a CCAB qualification or qualified by experience.
  • Able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge of financial accounting.
  • A flexible individual who is happy to be involved in all areas of finance.
  • Experience within the not-for-profit sector is highly desirable but by no means essential.
