Job Description

Boston Hale is working with a reputable UK charity who are looking for an interim finance officer for 6 months.This role is fully remote and would suit someone who has worked in the Charity sector before.Duties:

  • Responsible for all accounting and processing tasks across income and expenditure
  • Taking ownership of cashbooks and ensuring they reconcile to ledger/bank statements
  • Preparing bank and balance sheet reconciliations for review
  • Processing payment runs
  • Preparing month end accrual and prepayment schedules for review
  • Managing the finance inbox
  • Assisting in the annual audit
  • Assisting in preparing accounts for management review
Essential:
  • Experience in the charity or not for profit sector
  • Strong communication and Excel skills
  • Experienced in debits and credits
