Job Description

Are you an experienced Transactional Finance Manager looking for your next contract Can you motivate, lead, and support a large team of finance professionals Would you describe yourself as a strong communicator and problem solver If so, read on.Robertson Bell are supporting this Not-for-Profit organisation to recruit an Interim Finance Manager on an initial 3-month contract. The head office is based in Central London, operating on a hybrid working pattern, asking for two to three days per weekbe spent in the office.The Interim Finance Manager’s responsibilities include:

  • Managing and authorising high value payments, ensuring all key information is accurate.
  • Directly line managing two Finance Team Leads and indirectly managing a team of Finance Officers, providing on the job training and being their main point of contact for queries and escalations.
  • Maintaining and building strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Spotting unidentified income and reaching out to third parties – ensuring all income is allocated correctly.
The successful Interim Finance Manager will have:
  • Experience working in a similar Finance Manager role – ideally having managed an Accounts Receivable department.
  • Used numerous finance systems and Excel, with the ability to use VLOOKUPs, formulas and pivot tables.
  • Experience managing a team of finance professionals.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an eye for detail.
