Job Description

I am seeking to speak with any qualified Financial Controllers, from large and complex organisations, to discuss a truly exciting upcoming twelve-month contract with a well-known organisation!Robertson Bell are delighted to be partnering with a well-regarded international charity who are seeking a Director of Financial Accounting to provide at least three-months of temporary cover over their busiest period, yearend. This is a hybrid role basedin Central London.The main responsibilities include:

  • Oversee all areas of financial accounting of control, including financial accounting, treasury, systems, and finance transactions.
  • Responsible for leading and coordinating the consolidated year end statutory accounting and audit, ensuring successful delivering of audit.
  • Act as sponsor within the organisation for change and work the Directors to drive consistent policies and procedures throughout the organisation.
The successful candidate will be:
  • A qualified accountant with experience in leading financial accounting and control teams.
  • A strong track record working in organisations with turnover of over £100m and operating internationally.
  • Well experienced working in the not-for-profit sector.
