Director in Public HealthLondon£900-£950 per dayTemporary 6-9 monthsInside IR35Brand new role for a passionate and confident, Director in Public Health for a London Authority to start in February 2021. This contract is initially for 6-9 months but with the possibility for another extension. This will be an exciting time to join this Local Authority as a Director in Public Health, on the back of what has been a challenging year, to steer the way and lead in what will be another important and pressing time for Public Health. Your new role as the Director in Public health will focus on:• Providing a high level of support, ownership, direction and advice to all public health employees and divisions on all issues regarding health protection across the board• You will need to make key decisions, implement change and be confident in your thought process and communication as this key role will be both internal and external stakeholders• Your role will look at every aspect of Public health, so your knowledge of epidemiology, accompanied by your passion for health practice and promotion will be critical in this key postYou will have:• A proven background as a Director in Public Health• Your understanding of epidemiology will be at a very high level, accompanied by a strong statistics background, public health practice experience, a focus on health promotion, community development, health economics and health care evaluation• Inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register/GDC Specialist List/UK Public Health Register (UKPHR) for Public Health SpecialistsIf this Director in Public Health sounds of interest to you or you know of anyone who this role may fit please do not hesitate to get in touch with myself, Nikki ASAP at or apply today.
