Job Description

Robertson Bell are pleased to be working with a Central Government organisation to recruit an Interim Commercial Systems Manager, on a contract initially running up until the 31st December 2022 with a chance of extension beyond that point. The role willbe worked remotely with occasional travel into one of their offices for workshops.As the Interim Commercial Systems Manager, you will be project managing a commercial eSourcing implementation plan which will see the migration of two legacy organisation to a single eSourcing platform.Specific responsibilities include:

  • Lead the design and implementation of the commercial eSourcing implementation plan.
  • Coordinate resources to review system metadata, as is and to be processes.
  • Oversee successful data migration from legacy systems.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure optimum design and configuration of commercial systems.
  • Oversee OAT and UAT ensuring identified issues are resolved.
  • Develop and deliver required user training prior to go live
The successful candidate will have:
  • Direct experience with configuration/implementation of eSourcing tools (Bravo/Proactis or similar).
  • Experience of delivering Procurement technologies, tools and applications.
  • IT project management experience and a solid technical understanding of Saas.
  • A proven track record in project management and delivery, leading teams, effective stakeholder engagement.
Please note this role is inside of IR35 and will be paid through an umbrella company.Due to the nature of the organisation and its sensitive information, you will be required to hold valid and current SC or DV Clearance (utilised within the last 12 months). Or if you dont currently hold these clearances you must be willing to go throughthe SC Clearance security vetting process.
