Job Description

This role joins a brand new and still forming team, within a high profile and exciting construction programme.The post reports to the Head of Financial Control and offers a variety of audits from financial compliance to strategic development with some including elements of IT and project assurance. NB: This role is INSIDE IR35Working autonomously, the role will include the following:

  • Planning and delivering individual audit and advisory assignments to scope, quality, time and within budget
  • Providing assurance on the adequacy, reliability and effectiveness of the organisations risk management, control and governance processes
  • Contributing to the overall audit strategy
  • Representing internal audit on internal project boards as necessary
  • Delivering draft and final reports in line with agreed deadlines, keeping key stakeholders informed of major issues as they arise and at key stages of fieldwork
    • We are sensitive to the business complexities which C-19 presents. This role will be appointed in an entirely safe and socially distant manner to follow all government guidance, requiring you to work remotely. This means we are looking for someone who is:
  • Proactive and emotionally intelligent in their communication style,
  • Able to work autonomously,
  • Has previous experience leading internal audits (CMIIA, CCAB or CIA qualified)
