Job Description

Are you an experienced Assistant Accountant looking for a new contract within a dynamic and fast-paced environment Do you have what it takes to work on short deadlines If so, keep reading!Robertson Bell proudly collaborates with a client within the government sector, and they are out looking for an Interim Assistant Accountant. This would be an initial five to six months contract offering a flexible working pattern.The Interim Assistant Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Purchase Ledger, processing invoices, supplier reconciliations, and maintaining the PO inbox.
  • Sales Ledger, chasing outstanding debts, and processing sales invoices.
  • Assisting with year-end audits.
  • Completing accurate balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties.
The ideal candidate for the Interim Assistant Accountant will have:
  • Demonstrable experience in Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger or a similar role, showcasing a solid foundation in financial operations.
  • Great knowledge of using the Agresso system or any similar accounting system.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and effectively.
