Job Description

RSR are currently recruiting for Intelligence/Investigation Analyst The role is to review UKFIU holdings (Suspicious Activity Reports, Defence against Money Laundering Requests and International information) to identify opportunities for further intelligence development.The candidate will be undertaking the initial identification and development of intelligence opportunities to progress priority threat areas such as money laundering, fraud, bribery and corruption. This will include producing intelligence reports for disseminationwith a view to these being developed further into investigations by the relevant teams.The candidate will be required to identify opportunities for further development and placement either internally within an National Law Enforcement Agency or with an external partner such as Police Forces, HMRC, Serious Fraud Office etc. They will developthe information as far as possible using available tools and information to produce a professional and comprehensive intelligence product.Location: LondonContract: 6 monthsWork hours:Full time - HybridSalary: £300 per day UmbrellaVacancies: 2Vetting Level:: Live SCMain duties and responsibilities

  • Previous experience of intelligence development, ideally financial intelligence development or within the economic crime area.
  • Previous experience of the analysis of financial intelligence (Suspicious Activity Reports).
  • Experience of handling and managing intelligence processes.
  • Analytical skills and experience including the analysis of complex or volume financial intelligence where possible.
  • Previous experience of operational decision making.
  • Mentoring staff in intelligence processes (the candidate will be required to work with officers across the UKFIU to upskill them in producing intelligence products).
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external partners.
  • Previous intelligence officer experience not within the economic crime arena will be considered.
Essential
  • IPP is desirable but not essential.
  • Analysis qualifications would also be desirable but again not essential.
  • Have active live SC clearance
  • Background in Economic/Financial Crime in an investigative matter
  • Law Enforcement Background
