This is a newly formed opportunity reporting to the Client Integration Officer. You will be responsible for leading a team of Data Tuning Analysts and Screening Systems Analyststo perform ongoing tuning on the companys screening solution.What youll doKey responsibilities in this role will include (but not be limited to):

• Work closely with the internal Tuning and Analytics Lead to define a tuning framework to reduce false positives within the sanctions screening process
• Design and implement a repeatable process for ongoing tuning, testing, and measurement of anomalies
• Ensure tuning processes stays aligned to model risk management processes and standards
• Configuration of screening solutions for multiple institution design to ensure the effectiveness of financial crime screening solutions and improve efficiencies
• Support ongoing assurance processes to ensure that screening systems that are developed and deployed stay fit-for-purpose
• Review and assess existing systems and controls relevant to screening to ascertain operational performance and effectiveness measures
• Applying data analytic tools and techniques to identify changes to optimise relevant screening systems
• Build a good understanding of the screening solution and identify tuning rules to reduce false positives generated from the screening system
• Build a good understanding of the auto-decision solution and build a process to validate and manage rules within the auto-decision solution
• Conduct data analysis by leveraging historical data to identify ways to improve screening output
• Analysis based on transaction types, lists, and matching algorithms
• Support implementation and ongoing use of reporting requirements that can support the tuning process
• Work closely and provide input into the internalProduct and Technology teams for improvements

What youll need

• Minimum 5 years experience in a screening analytics and tuning role
• Proven experience in leading a team of tuning analysts
• Mature experience in a data/risk analytics role
• Experience in the configuration and validation of transaction screening solutions
• Ability to analyse information (identify trends & patterns) and present a summary of results
• Experience in statistical modeling, and analysis using techniques such as regression analysis, multivariate analysis, factor analysis, and clustering
• Proficiency in Python programming, SQL scripting, and SQL databases
• Experience in analysing data in payments platforms including SWIFT, ISO20022 and
• Experience working with XML data structures and JSON data formats
• Experience using Teams, Jira, Confluence, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience working in a distributed team
• Fluent in written and spoken business English
