Todays technical education for tomorrows careersThe Black Country and Marshes Institute of Technology is a major new development based in Dudley opening in September 2021.Specialising in higher level technical education programmes and Apprenticeships, the new employer-led Institute of Technology will bring together the training offer of Dudley College of Technology with key partners including University of Wolverhampton, University of Worcester, In-Comm Training Services Limited and Avensys UK limited.It will deliver a wide range of higher level courses in Manufacturing and Engineering, Medical Engineering and Healthcare, Modern Construction Methodologies and Digital Technologies.We are currently looking to recruit Lecturers, Trainer/Assessors and Instructors in the following subject areas:-Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing - Electrical, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Cad/Cam, Robotics and Automation, CNC Machining.Medical Engineering and Healthcare - Laboratory, Biomedical and Health Professional.Modern Methods of Construction Methodologies - Construction and Built Environment, Building Services - Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Building Information Modelling, Geospatial.Data Analytics and Information Management - computer science, data analytics and data management.We are particularly interested in recruiting industry experts who are looking for new opportunities to use their recent industry skills and expertise to enrich the lives of young people and adults through passing on their knowledge.In return we offer a generous pay and reward package including:-Annual salary of up to £49,128 for Lecturers, £32, 508 for Trainer/Assessors and £27,239 for Instructors.Enrolment in the Teachers Pension Scheme and Local Government Pension Scheme with generous employer contributions.37 days annual leave for Lecturers and 25 for Trainer/Assessors and Instructors plus 8 bank holidays and 5 efficiency days.Generous maternity, paternity and adoption schemes.Staff incentive schemes including BHSF Health and Care Scheme, Cycle to Work scheme and multiple local company discounts.Commitment to your continuous professional development, including obtaining the relevant teaching and assessing qualifications.Staff recognition scheme.You will be joining the Institute at an exciting time as we are at the beginning of our journey to provide high quality training opportunities with clear pathways to skilled jobsWant to discover more about the Institute of Technology and the opportunities it can offer to youJoin us at one our virtual recruitment open events being held on the morning of Thursday 27th May and the evening of Wednesday 9th June 2021.
