Job Description

Business Insights Analyst£50,000Central LondonThe roleThe MI team is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of required reports and information to all the employees. You will be reporting to the Senior Analyst Programmer and will be primarily responsible for creating and amending reports extracted from their MS SQL based data warehouse. The accuracy of the reports, timely delivery, and adherence to their security controls are paramount. There is also scope for C# application development within InfoPath forms and SharePoint. As part of BAU, there will be requirements to deliver new reports under tight time constraints. Fast thinkers who can diagnose, assist others and remediate BAU support issues. Maintain documentation for both support and stringent internal audits. This role requires a responsible individual who can support the MI infrastructure. Key duties·Work within MI team in supporting and delivering all aspects of MI ·BAU encompassing data warehouse back end maintenance and Housekeeping ·Support annual Disaster Recovery invoking/testing ·Contribute to design, build and implementation of new reports and applications/interfaces. ·Facilitate internal/external Audits and Penetration Testing. Remediation Skills required·Experience working within mission-critical environments ·Experience in operational deployments ·Maintains required industry recognised skills through training and self-study methods ·In-depth knowledge of MS SQL ·In-depth knowledge of SDLC ·C# Development (advantageous)·Process automation experience. ·Equation/iSeries DB knowledge. ·SWIFT ·AIXCompany overviewOur client is part of Banking Group has a global network of branches across five continents.
