Job Description

INSIGHT DIRECTORUP TO £70,000LONDONWorld-leading data and insights consultancy is looking for an Insight Director to join their commercial strategy division. The company works with many household names and world leaders across a number of industries. If you have a background in FMCG sales or category and are looking for the next step, apply now!THE COMPANY:The company is an exciting growth consultancy. The company helps to develop brand, marketing, retail, and sales strategies. They currently have opportunities for experienced National Account Manager, Category Manager, or strategy consultants to join our Commercial Strategy division to help turn strategy into action with our clients. You will be able to use your sales and category knowledge to help clients build engaging go-to-market strategies. You will be mentored by practice Directors and Partners and have responsibility for delivering high-quality client work, being able to work autonomously, and build client relationships.THE ROLE:The Insight Director will be responsible for:

  • Deliver client project work as part of a wider team, being responsible for a particular aspect of the project
  • Conduct analysis of client and business data sets and apply analytical frameworks to answer client questions
  • Contribute towards building strong client relationships through effective day-to-day client management
  • Help to create and deliver engaging and compelling client presentations for an executive-level audience
  • Support business development efforts including proposal development
    • YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:The perfect Insight Director will have:
  • A background in FMCG sales or category (e.g. National Account Manager, Category Manager, Channel manager)
  • Solid understanding of channels, retailers and instore execution levers (price, promo, planograms, layout, secondary displays)
  • Logical, practical, and well organised thinkers with a curiosity that will impact our clients strategy and growth
  • The ability to tell a detailed, multi-layered and impactful story through data & other sources of info - not just the nice to know but the so-what for clients
  • Able to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects
  • Rigorous analytical skills - confidence, proficiency and enjoyment in working with numerical outputs
  • Curious and proactive in exploring avenues to challenge the status quo to build new ways of working & innovate approaches to drive more effective, efficient and inspiring outcomes.
  • Excel experience needed
    • THE BENEFITS:The successful Insights Director will receive a salary of up to £55,000 based upon on experience. On top of this the successful candidate will receive a great holiday allowance, a fantastic working culture, as well as other benefits. Required skills
