Job Description

Inside Sales Manager - English and European Languages neededSalary £30,000 - £40,000Based in Ealing - need to live in an easy commute to West London Hybrid after 3 months (3 days in office, 2 days working from home) A great opportunity has arisen for a high-performing, multi skilled Inside Sales Manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a top manufacturer and distributor of tools and accessories in the building industry, based in Ealing. The role requiressomeone that is resilient and ideally has either telesales, call center or cold calling experience. Looking for someone that knows the market - distributors, builders merchants, retailers, construction, electrical wholesalers, etc that can work alongsidethe external sales team.Looking for individuals who are willing to jump in and contribute, be a team player and be willing to help and wear multiple hats. This is a newly created role with availability to start immediatelyDuties:

  • Delivering sustainable growth in target markets whilst driving continuous improvement in Customer Service
  • Managing existing customer base and driving business development through cold calling
  • Internal management of customer requirements through up-to-date customer call lists, and teleselling to ensure daily/weekly/monthly customer requirements are captured
  • Identify any potential opportunities for business development and make appointments for the external sales team
  • Creating reports and recording data on spreadsheets
  • Works closely with the external sales team and development teams to continually grow the business
Experience & Skills Required:
  • A self-starter that is confident and personable with an excellent telephone manner and can build long-lasting relationships
  • Dedication, accuracy, confidentiality and loyalty.
  • Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
  • Experience in Excel and Microsoft packages
  • Persuasive, resilient and friendly
  • Outstanding influencing skills and the ability to sell complex ideas and proposals to demanding clients
  • Excellent command of English and other European languages desirable
  • Experience of working within the DIY industry advantageous , must have worked in a manufacturing, distribution environment
  • Confidant to do proactive calls to existing and prospect customers
  • Hands on character to assist in all office and growth support
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and numeracy
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
