This an extraordinary experience.Our IT Department at Lidl GB is now looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Infrastructure Operations Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with great technical experience and the ability to communicate effectively and accuratelywith various stakeholders across the business.This is a challenging and important position for a candidate with extensive knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure operations and compliance in an enterprise setting. This position will bridge the gap between our compliance team and operations team throughreporting analysis and improving efficiencies of our processes through automation.The right candidate will be unafraid of a fast-paced work environment where priorities can change quickly and need re-prioritisation. The Infrastructure Operations Manager will also be dedicated to building a great, collaborative, and scalable team, where apositive atmosphere and professional development are paramount.We have moved to a hybrid working model with a minimum 2 days in the office per week for appropriate Head Office and Regional roles, empowering our teams to choose how and where they work best. We feel it is important that, where possible, we offerour colleagues as much flexibility as possible and trust our teams to determine the right environments that work most effectively for them.What youll do•Strive for continuous improvement and optimization of security and compliance standards•Overseeing and ensuring software updates are applied and relevant patch management tasks are undertaken to ensure compliance•Monitor & optimise the Performance and availability of core infrastructure•Continuous monitoring and implementation of globally managed security compliance directives•Management and development of small team and relevant project activities•Responsible for complying to defined standards, best practice, security, compliance and governance of infrastructure systems and solutions•Maintain and report SLA and KPI where specified•Responsible to ensure Backup & Recovery processes are compliant•Ensure identity management activities are fulfilled consistently•Build and document sustainable processes, ensure the business achieves optimum efficiency•Proven experience in supporting preparing and handling audits•Overseeing and ensuring software updates are applied and relevant patch management tasks are undertaken to ensure complianceWhat youll need•Proven experience in an IT infrastructure operations role.•Proven working experience in IT infrastructure security compliance in an enterprise setting•Managing people and a team desirable•Practical & technical understanding of network, server infrastructure, application security, cybersecurity, and cloud security controls.•Highly developed oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills.•Proven ability to develop successful partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.•Strong collaboration and information sharing with team members is essential.•Excellent technical communication and analytical skills; ability to simplify and report on complex technical functions and risks to senior leadership.•Proven experience in supporting, preparing, and handling audits•Excellent technical communication and analytical skills; ability to simplify and report on complex technical functions and risks to senior leadership.What youll receiveThis isnt getting by.
