Infrastructure Engineer - LondonOur client offers expertise and consultancy around the world regarding investment and asset management, data analytics and Machine Learning, legal advice and even innovative management consultancy.Theyre looking to grow their IT and Infrastructure team and are looking for an experienced engineer / administrator to manage and improve their systems.From day one youll have the chance to work with a huge variety of Microsoft and Windows technologies, UNIX / Linux, virtualisation using VMware, LAN and WAN networking and Cloud, AWS and DevOps tools.Youll have real ownership of your work; the IT function will be yours to not only support and maintain but also improve and drive forwards.Along with day to day operations theyll be plenty of project work covering automation and infrastructure as code (IaC), upgrades and migrations, security engineering and building out the Cloud offering.Requirements:- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server tools and technologies (Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM, SCOM, Office 365 etc) - Experience of UNIX / Linux would be ideal - Knowledge of AWS and Cloud / DevOps engineering - Strong experience of virtualisation (VMware) - Good understanding of LAN, WAN and multi-site networking - Excellent communication skills - Exposure to Information / Cyber Security - Self-starter and the ability to manage work and drive projects forwards, end to end
