Job Description

Permanent OpportunityInfrastructure Engineer We are working with a College in London who is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to help support the team in their BAU operations.Core deliverables of this post include:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot applications, systems and servers used - including backup and restoration
  • Share management load of O365 services (Azure Active Directory, Teams, Intune, Autopilot)
  • Produce and maintain IT Infrastructure technical documentation, processes, procedures and Knowledge Management articles.
  • Proactively identify areas of opportunity and/or improvements based on trends in the data and use these insights to inform operational improvements or identify risks.
  • Provide strategic input to IT Operations around key decision points.
  • Attend and actively participate in Technical Design Authority (TDA) meetings when required.
  • Manage infrastructure services in Azure, physical and virtual servers.
Required skills/experience includes:
  • Proven training skillsthis could be a degree/formal training qualification or a previous work experience.
  • Functional knowledge of Office 365 including Teams and Azure
  • Strong knowledge of IT processes, procedures, and technologies
  • Proven experience working as an infrastructure analyst or in a similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows servers, AD, Exchange /O365, VMware and Microsoft Certificate Services
  • Familiarity with storage system technologies and implementation strategy
  • You must be flexible, adaptable, and capable of handling various pressures and demands.
  • A Satisfactory DBS disclosure at Enhanced level
