Infrastructure Engineer - London - Hybrid - £55-£60,000k + excellent benefits Overview:This excellent opportunity has arisen with a one of the worlds largest global communications company, delivering advertising, marketing and media buying too many UK and global clients. They are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to be part of a team supporting the UK setup at multiple office locations and cloud services. Requiring solid all round infrastructure experience, you will be covering a variety of solutions across multiple techstacks. Role & Responsibilities: Provide expertise and extensive knowledge in specialist area, support the Delivery Manager ensuring the work of the team is planned and evaluated. Provide professional advice on complex and sensitive queries. Attend meetings, instigate and direct the resolution process, in order to inform decisions. Investigate potential and actual service problems and recommends solutions. Follows formal procedures to plan and test proposed solutions.Skills & Experience: A great understanding of security and best practice in all aspects of information security. Attention to detail and a drive to provide documentation for all installed systems. Strong networking background. Palo Alto, HP and Cisco with SDWan, IPv6, VPN, BGP, Multicast and ZTNA being a benefit. Experience with Iaas/PaaS/Saas (Azure preferred) along with consolidation and modernisation of legacy system to fit the cloud environment. Microsoft (Azure) accreditations for support and architecture. Ability to be a team player, passing on knowledge verbally at appropriate levels for junior and senior staff members.Desirable: Cloud networking knowledge Any containerisation knowledge, Docker, Kubernetes and AKS is advantageous. Linux system administration experience Enterprise MDM Good working knowledge of service desk and change management processes with authorisation and risk categorisation.
