Job Description

Infrastructure Engineer£50-55kLondon Bridge- x3 days onsite per weekA global Real Estate Firm are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their friendly team, based in London.This role is great chance to get involved in some interesting projects whilst providing 3rd line support to their large user base.Responsibilities:

  • Produce quality documentation for Design, Build and Configuration.
  • Work with suppliers on delivery of new implementations.
  • Ownership of the server and storage Infrastructure.
  • Assessing the project schedule through monitoring project progress and quickly resolving problems.
  • Collaborate with executive management and department leaders to assess near- and long-term server and storage Infrastructure capacity needs.
  • Oversee new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
  • Disaster Recovery Planning & Strategy.
Skills:
  • Proficient in configuration, design & support of Microsoft Servers up to 2022, VMWare 6.5 and above virtual infrastructures and Citrix XenApp 6.5 and above.
  • Understanding of design and operational concepts related to Cloud infrastructures (upgrades, migrations, backup, restore, DR, patching, anti-virus, system management, monitoring, security and reporting).
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange Messaging and Active Directory both On-prem and Azure. Preferably with experience in O365 migrations and Hybrid environments. Experience in Mimecast services would be advantageous.
  • Experienced with HP Storage technologies including Nimble, HP 3PAR and MSA Arrays.
  • Scripting experience including VBScript, DOS Batch and PowerShell.
