Infrastructure Architect

Role Title: Infrastructure ArchitectLocation: RemoteDuration: 10 Months Rate: £650 per day via umbrella company Role Description:Responsibilities:

Ability to analyse project requirements and design solutions to specifications
Ability to design and author clear, realistic technical design documentation following architectural standards
Provide technical solutions, input to estimates and costs, and key technical risks/issues
Review and advise on changes to project(s) and impact solution changes
Ensure third party suppliers meet their technical deliverables and they are formally approved by the client
Maintain a collaborative relationship with all relevant technical delivery and support teams
Provide governance and escalation for troubleshooting of solutions
Ensure technical status reporting is timely, succinct and honest
Ensure the technical closedown process is completed at project end and share lessons learned across the technical delivery teams

Architect/Technical Skills

Technical architecture for a wide range of traditional Data Centre build / physical infrastructure (building) upgrades, including PDUs; UPSs; Electronic & Environmental sensors; hardware monitoring, a good understanding of non cloud core infrastructureprojects covering Wintel, AD, Linux (Redhat), VMWare, infrastructure upgrades, would also be useful.
