Job Description

Information Security Vulnerability Analyst

  • Location: Aldgate, E1 8EU or Bridgend, CF31 1BN
  • Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 17:30pm
  • Salary: GBP50,000 – GBP60,000 Gross per annum
Want to be part of a leading British–owned tech company Established in 2002, we are achieving year on year revenue growth and reinvesting 95% of our profits back into our people and technology.Your new roleIn the role of Information Security Vulnerability Analyst you will be a key member of the security working group that will work closely on projects for high value customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation andday–to–day operation of customers ISMS.
  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments based on the input provided by existing tools and processes.
  • Identify any potential security risks and define with the internal teams the remediation and/or mitigation activities.
  • Document and maintain records for vulnerability assessments, remediation steps taken and overall cyber security posture.
  • Present regular reports to customers on their cyber security posture.
  • Manage risk register for customer environment within the scope of the delivered solution.
What youll need to succeed
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology or related field.
  • Proven experience in vulnerability assessments or penetration testing.
  • Ability to produce and present reports to customers effectively, as well as being a reference point in all matters related to cyber security.
  • In–depth knowledge of information security principles, best practices and industry standards such as ISO 27001.
  • Ability to maintain up–to–date knowledge on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cyber security industry trends.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical thinking, problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
