Job Description

Infotech Recruitment Solutions are working on behalf of a global leader in the implementation of information security solutions and governance frameworks. With extensive expertise across risk management, IT security and governance they help organisations to ensure that the correct processes and procedures are in place to protect themselves.With significant growth in recent years, winning new contracts and seeing our role on existing ones extended they are looking to strengthen their Information Security team by employing a Senior Information Security Consultant. The role will be supporting the delivering of information security services to contracts to the Energy sector focused on Smart Energy Code (SEC).Responsibilities for the position include:

  • Undertaking the review of ISO standards
  • Conduct ad hoc risk assessments
  • Monitoring all security incidents and vulnerabilities reported by Smart Energy Code (SEC) Parties and providing an expert assessment of the materiality of the security incident or vulnerability
  • Monitor the threat landscape and advise on changes arising from threats or business impact levels
  • Conduct analysis produce papers and presentations; provide advice and make recommendations
  • Maintaining and reviewing documentation including the Security Controls Framework
    • To be considered for this position you will have:
  • An understanding and practical working knowledge of Smart Energy Code (SEC) Section G
  • Technical knowledge of information security compliance (ISO27001), information management and Smart Metering
  • Have practical experience in undertaking ISO 27001 internal and external audits
  • ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer qualification is essential
  • Ideally have an industry qualification such as CISA or CISM
    • In return my client offers a basic salary dependent on experience between £40,000 to £55,000 with a host of benefits including Private Medical Insurance, Company pension scheme, Life Insurance, Performance and Development scheme and flexible working arrangement. Required skills
