Informatica Consultant

Informatica Consultant- Permanent- London based with flexible working- Up to £75,000 + 15% bonusRole & Responsibilities:

Work for a growing consultancy that has a strong focus on innovation and collaboration
Working within our data engineering practice, a team whose expertise enables clients to gain insight from their data
An Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) specialist, comfortable advising customers in best practice use of the platform and the wider informatica suite of products
Implementing and debugging processes within IICS Cloud Data Integration and Cloud Data Quality
Direct involvement in the Data management lifecycle, from producing data integration mapping specifications, design and validation through to development and production deployments
Identifying and solving Data Quality issues across a range of datasets
Working directly with clients to understand their business problems and using your expertise to transform their data in order to do this
Adept at problem solving, able to identify the most appropriate way for the business problem to be addressed. Capable of presenting findings back to senior stakeholders within the client organisation
Promote the adoption and integration of data engineering into the client organisation. Helping to drive innovation both internally and with clients
Define and participate in Proof of Concepts for the client and internally provided use cases. Helping to assess and propose data-focused solutions based on business requirements

Essential Requirements:

Proven experience in working within data engineering teams, with 3+ years hands-on development experience in Informatica products
1+ years experience using IICS Data Integration
6+ months experience using IICS Data Profiling
6+ months experience using IICS Data Quality
Strong SQL and data analysis skills
Solid understanding of dimensional modelling
Capable of working with challenging stakeholders and developers, able to negotiate and drive your ideas forward
Excellent interpersonal skills will be needed to build strong relationships that will be critical for the success of this role
