Job Description

Over the coming years, we want to increase sales of In-Form systems and income from building new systems and providing technical support, development work, training and consultancy.The In-Form Business Development Manager will support this work.

  • Being responsible for managing and increasing sales of In-Form products and services to meet income targets
  • Working with staff teams, members and other organisations to increase awareness of the range of In-Form products and services.M
  • MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Follow In-Form sales strategy and processes effectively to respond to leads and effectively drive sales of the In-Form application, meet income targets and expand customer base.
  • Manage sales process effectively via Salesforce CRM and Salesforce CPQ
  • Work with the Head of Sales to analyse membership and In-Form customer surveys and other data to inform sales strategies.
  • Respond to and follow up leads from the website, In-Form website, colleagues and other sources.
  • Write and coordinate contributions to quotes, proposals (including technical descriptions of In-Form), and contracts.
  • Work with colleagues across the business to ensure the In-Form application reflects current best practice for the sector.
  • Identify appropriate areas of spend of the sales and marketing budget with Head of Sales.Carry out online and on site In-Form demos for staff at all levels from members and other agencies.
  • Respond to technical, financial, GDPR and other enquiries from potential customers.
  • Manage handover of clients from Sales to In-Form technical team once contracts are signed to ensure technical staff are fully briefed on the client and their requirements
  • Supporting funding partners eg Lloyds Bank Foundation including producing diagnostic and post-sale reports.
  • Liaise with Salesforce account manager and other staff to improve systems and planning.
  • Maintain good relationships with other Salesforce consultancies/partners to increase referrals.
  • Produce regular management information on sales and leads.
  • Marketing
  • Work with the In-Form Marketing Manager to generate and manage incoming leads for In-Form and Salesforce consultancy services.
  • Use Pardot, our marketing automation system, to support In-Form sales activities.
  • Deliver outbound sales phone and email campaigns, working with In-Form Marketing Manager.
  • Events
  • Make presentations and demonstrate In-Form at events.
  • Manage In-Form attendance at the business and other events including exhibition stands, screens, staff attendance and materials
  • Respond to leads from events and webinars
  • Research appropriate up and coming events.
  • PERSON SPECIFICATIONQUALIFICATIONS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREDEssential
  • Experience in a customer facing role, building and maintaining successful customer relationships, including with staff at a senior level.
  • Experience in implementing sales processes and strategies using CRM and inside/field sales.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience of selling products/services in a business to business environment#
  • Experience in making presentations to senior staff.
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing theory and practice.
  • Experience of CRM systems and databases.
  • Skills in writing for a range of audiences in various formats including powerpoints, proposals, tenders and contracts.
  • Self-motivated team player.
