Job Description

Work for a Charity in London as an Individual Giving Manager - PermanentYoull be joining a team with an ambitious new directorate to drive financial contributions via individual giving. Working into the team responsible for driving direct to consumer revenues within the Group Marketing Function.The Individual Giving Manager will be responsible for planning and managing the day-to-day development and execution of individual giving campaigns to generate financial contributions and grow income.What you will be doing

  • Planning - Produce annual plans, budgets and KPIs for Individual Giving income generation including acquisition (regular giving, cash appeals, telemarketing) and retention (cash appeals, supporter impact stories, stewardship journeys).
  • Strategy - Contribute to overall marketing strategy for Income generation.
  • Budgeting - Analyse income and expenditure monthly, reporting on variances and forecasting future results.
  • Marketing - Develop and deliver marketing campaigns using digital, print and telephone channels; manage the annual programme of cash and regular giving appeals; ensure Individual Giving content is effective and up to date on all the charities communicationchannels including website, social media and in print. This includes copy writing the content.
Experience required to be considered
  • Experience of income generation from direct marketing campaigns (acquisition and/or retention) across a variety of offline and digital channels for acquisition and retention
  • Experience of setting, managing and delivering against budgets, reporting on KPIs, variances and re-forecasting.
  • Effective campaign copy writing and ability to translate ideas into design briefs.
  • Experience of project management to deliver acquisition or retention campaigns within agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Experience of using databases for targeting, segmentation, testing and response analysis and how to apply these leanings to future campaigns.
  • Ability to manage and monitor external suppliers and agencies.
  • Ability to monitor and evaluate campaign results and make recommendations to improve performance.
