A large Charity in Central London is looking for a Reconciliations Accountant to join the team immediately. They are happy to have people work remotely.Client DetailsA large Childrens Charity in Central LondonDescriptionMaintain and ensure the full reconciliation of bank, control and intercompany accounts and all its subsidiariesEnsuring the accurate and timely posting of all transactions from interfaces into Agresso (CARE & EPOS) and that any issues are quickly identified and resolvedMonthly, ensure the accurate and timely posting of all expenditure, income and recharges in Agresso and liaising with Income Processing units, Business partnering and other finance teams (i.e. Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, AFIHUB) that any issuesare quickly identified and resolvedEnsuring the bank, general ledger and other standing data modules in the Financial system (Agresso) are updated accordingly (i.e. journals and bank statements)Posting of month-end related journals including Accruals, Prepayments, Recharges, Recodes and RevaluationsProvide and maintain a strong financial control frameworkIdentify areas where processes could be improved and take the lead in implementing relevant changes and streamlining existing processesDaily treasury related tasks which includes the review of main bank accounts to ensure balances sufficient to meet expenditure plans. Setting up of bank line payments when requiredEnsure intercompany balances are prepared and agreed for all entities monthly and are settled periodically. All queries are followed up with Business Partnering and entitiesTake responsibility for refunds as required by the Fundraising team, liaising with the Legal team to ensure they are dealt with appropriately.Liaise with payment platforms; WorldPay, PayPal, and others as applicableProfile- Agresso- Reconcilations- Excel (Pivot/Vlookups)- Income experienceJob Offer£15-18ph per experience.
