Job Description

Our client, a charity based in Vauxhall, are looking for an Income Administrator to join their team. £13.09ph, 10 week temp contract, 34.5 hours per week. ASAP start, working 1 day per week in office.Duties:To prepare and reconcile all postal income received into our UKO office - this includes the daily banking, reconciliation and batching of cheques/cash/charity vouchers and credit card forms. All income must be processed according to our Cash Handling Policiesand Procedures.

  • Strict adherence to the Cash Handling Policies and Procedures
  • Daily batching on SMS (fund-raising system) of cash, cheques, charity vouchers and credit card forms
  • Daily journal entries for items not processed through the batching system
  • Daily reconciliation of all income received to the Post Log, SMS (fund-raising system), Post Reconciliation, JDE Journals and paying in slips if applicable
  • Process, reconcile and manage income that is processed through various charity bank accounts
  • Process Matched Giving forms and create batching entries on the fund-raising system when income is received into the bank
  • Office administration including post opening and distribution, managing the archiving and cheque book/ paying in slip process
  • Deal with income queries relevant to the role
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date procedures are available for the Income Processing Team
  • Be familiar with and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures at all times
  • Any other duties as reasonably required in line with skills, knowledge, and experience to contribute to our wider success
