Job Description

A global business is looking to recruit a In-House Senior Tax Manager to report into the UK Head of Tax.Role:

  • Manage the UK taxation compliance function including:
  • Preparation of London Branch corporation tax computation and return
  • Calculation and management of quarterly instalment payments
  • Review of VAT returns
  • Maintenance and review of VAT special partial exemption method
  • UK regulatory returns e.g. BBSI returns, Corporate Interest restriction, AEOI et
  • Oversight of outsourced compliance function
  • Manage and implement the development of effective tax strategies ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations.
  • To interact with taxation authorities or regulatory agencies as required, e.g. assist with managing the continual UK tax audit cycle.
  • Identify, assess and analyse the tax implications of a strategic initiative or transaction, develop a comprehensive plan, manage key areas of tax risk and opportunity and provide recommendations to business partners.
Skills:
  • ACA/ACCA and/or CTA qualified
  • In-depth technical knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations, direct and indirect tax
  • Management of tax planning and compliance issues
  • Experience in providing tax advisory services
