Job Description

Job Purpose To supporting the Head of Product Structuring through project management and meeting support, including minute taking and organisational activities. Product Structuring seeks to grow revenue to BNY Mellon by: Identifying, proposing, and buildingcreative product solutions for clients ("pull products") Providing grass roots new products to enter new or developing areas of distribution or investing ("push products") Product Structuring sits in Distribution within our Investment Management businessand works closely with Sales, Product Development and Asset Servicing teams. In addition, it works directly with our Investment Management Firms and externally with Clients. Proactive management, a strong drive to deliver results to clients, tenacity to overcomingobstacles and sharing of information across these areas are fundamental characteristics to meeting the objectives of the business. Key Responsibilities Reviewing client requirements and developing the best product solutions to meet these requirements Workingwith Sales & Clients to progress and, where applicable, build solutions following a win Gathering and providing business analysis and proposals on new initiatives Working on strategic initiatives Liaising with stakeholder groups (tax, legal, operations, compliance,marketing) to understand contingencies from other areas and ensure structures are optimal Necessary skills required for the role include: Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) Strong, independent drive to deliver results; ability to find non-definedroutes to success Ability to change direction as required Ability to pick projects up from scratch, determine parameters and move them forward at pace required Ability to work across the business with diverse stakeholder groups Ability to research opportunitiesusing internal and external sources, filter for the most pertinent information & find proxies where gaps may exist.
