Job Description

Do you want to turn the tide with the violence against women and girls Perhaps you have a track record of advocating on behalf of victims of crimes and violence If so, then we need you.Our client provides holistic support across London to women and girls who are fleeing or survivors of serious abuse and violence - and are actively recruiting IDVAs to provide support during the current pandemic.As an IDVA, you will:

  • Effectively manage and develop a high quality, innovative and pro-active domestic abuse service for victims and their children, including those at highest risk
  • To ensure that the service prioritises the safety, security and dignity of service users and their children
  • Increase access to the service by maintaining and developing relationships and referral pathways with local statutory, voluntary and community organisations within communities across London
  • Responsible for managing, supporting and supervising the staff in delivering the services
  • Writing and returning monitoring reports to funders in accordance with the service level agreement
  • To work as part of a wider team and with other staff and projects within the organisation
    • Education
  • A Safe Lives qualification, formerly known as CAADA is preferable if you do not have the qualification the salary will be slightly less
