The Parliamentary Digital Service (PDS) works with the House of Commons, the House of Lords, and Parliament staff on their IT and digital needs. Our goal is to bring together the public, Parliament Members, and Parliamentary staff to inform, engage, support, and communicate through one, unified digital core - PDS.THE ROLE:The Identity Management team is part of the Technology directorate within Parliamentary Digital Service. The team is responsible for all aspects of authentication, security, monitoring and authorisation for all objects on the Parliamentary network. As an Identity and Access Management Specialist in the Identity Management team you will act as a senior member of the team, promoting and enhancing the vision of the team to deliver a growing suite of technology products and services that deliver maximum service. You will act as technical lead on projects / deliverables, building and maintaining an excellent relationship between the Identity and Access Management Team, colleagues and stakeholders of projects. You will be able to prioritize and use your own initiative to manage BAU and Project deliverables, maintaining maximum service reliability and excellent customer service. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES We are currently looking for candidates who have: Demonstrates a proactive approach to developing and learning IT skills and systems. Experience and knowledge in supporting a large enterprise network, applications, and server technologies. Technical understanding and experience of: Supporting Server Operating Systems (eg Windows Server 2012 and 2019) Virtual Technology (eg VMWare/Azure) Active Directory, DNS, PKI, MIM , Active Roles, Azure Active Directory, Single Sign On, AAD Connect, Windows Hello. Systems Administration VPN (Direct access / Cisco / Win10 VPN) Technical understanding of Cloud based platforms (eg Azure), or application Virtualisation, Infrastructures such as routers, switches, SANs, and proxy servers. Proven experience of working within a service-led organisation; managing incidents, requests, changes, and problems through a service desk system.Were an open, transparent, collaborative team at the heart of Westminster, who work innovatively and flexibly to facilitate a work/life balance.
