ICT (Computer Science) Teachers for Schools in Qatarfor August 2021International Teachers Plus (ITP) is a Teacher Placement Agency offering full recruitment services and a wide variety of international teaching jobs at reputable International Schools in the Middle East.Develop lesson plans and themes in line with British Curriculum objectives specific for teaching COMPUTER-ICT Subjects at Secondary grade levels. Instruct through lectures, discussions, and demonstrations. Use computers, audiovisual aids, and other equipment and materials to supplement presentations. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the varying needs and interests of students. Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with students and organizing learning resources and the classroom environment.Meeting with parents or guardians, teachers, counsellors and administrators to resolve any possible behavioural or academic problems. Attend professional development workshops and educational conferences to maintain and improve professional competence. Establish and enforce rules for class management and student behaviour. Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments to evaluate student progress.Qualifications:• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from a recognized University in the UK, US, CA, AU, NZ, ZA and Scandinavia (preferably from UK for British Curriculum))• TEACHING LICENSE FROM ONE OF THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES: UK, US, CA, AU, NZ, ZA and Scandinavian countries• Must have excellent English Communication skills and could pass an IELTS exam to level 6.5• Must have excellent classroom management skills and able to deal effectively with student behaviour issuesExperience:• Minimum 2 years ICT (Computer Science) teaching experience at Secondary grade levels • Culturally sensitive, dependable, flexible and able to work in a continuously changing environmentCONTRACT DETAILSStart Date: August 2021Location: QatarMonthly Salary Range: TAX FREE Monthly salary QAR 10,000 - 13,000 depending on qualifications and experienceHousing: FREE Furnished 1-2 bedroom apartment depending on Family Status Transportation provided from School housing back and forth to school Utilities paid QAR 300 for Singles and QAR 500 for MarriedHealth Insurance Coverage: Medical insurance provided for Employee onlyAnnual Air Fare: Cash Annual Air Fare provided for Employee and 1 dependent equivalent to ticket price to home countryLeave: In addition to official holidays, paid leave is allocated as per academic calendar and as per country Labour law.
