Job Description

A leading financial services organisation is currently searching for IBOR Project Manager on a 12 month contract basis.It will be £800 - 1000 Umbrella Daily and working remotely for the foreseeable future.Responsibilities for the role are;Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identify both client and group LIBOR exposures and propose strategies to help move transactions to alternative risk free rates.
  • Responsible for liaising across Marketing, Trading and Analysis teams to support orderly transition and highlight economic impacts of amendments
  • Support pricing and communication of LIBOR / Risk Free Rate basis for the purpose of transitioning legacy transactions and marking adjustment spreads for loans and swaps
  • Understand regulatory and legal landscape and support best practice to document transaction changes.
  • Report progress to Trading and Sales management
  • Attend meetings to discuss strategies and agree focus areas
  • Highlight areas for trade booking system development and monitor progress
  • Key Skills & Abilities
  • Experience pricing linear and/or non linear derivatives including Interest Rate and Cross Currency transactions
  • Working knowledge of LIBOR transition and expected industry standards
  • Previous derivative trading, structuring or sales experience desirable
  • An understanding of risk management and duties of care towards clients
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Industry recognised qualification (eg CFA, ACCA etc.) desirable but not essential.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with the ability to analyse highly complex financial data and large volumes of information and derive the best possible solution.
  • Strong communication skills and adept at establishing professional credibility at all levels with the ability to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders
  • A degree of flexibility is expected in working the hours that the business demands.
