Job Description

IBM, iSeries, RPG, AS400, System X, System i, Power, pSeries, Sales, Account Director, Business Development, Java, IT Managed Services, AI, Cloud, IoT, Power, IBM Sales, OS400, IBM Mainframe Location: Remote based/Home Salary: £55-60,000 basic + commission - OTE of £130,000Chapman Tate Associates seeks an IBM System i/Power Solutions Client Account Director to join this top-tiered IT Systems Reseller. With an international across 10 countries and over 750 employees, my client are a Premier IBM Business Partner who deliver a range of solutions across Cloud Services, IT Security, AI, IoT and Datacentre hosted services.This is a new role where you will act collaborate with internal sales and technical teams in order to support them in winning new largescale opportunities, as well as pursuing solutions across IBM Midrange solutions across:-iSeries-System p-X Series-OS400-System i-IBM Power based systems-AS400Responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for new business acquisition and development of new clients
  • Prospecting and qualifying new customers and selling through strategic planning
  • Act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions
  • Deliver a high level of service using your influence and skills at relationship building
  • Establish and grow relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
  • Travel to customer locations in support of the sales process as necessary
  • Evaluate contract spend in an organisation in order to optimise spending patterns, technology usage, and implementation strategies.
  • Provide leadership and knowledge to customers and maintain a strong presence in the platform and IBM Midrange community
  • Develop strategy to maximise opportunities and grow market share
  • Any experience working with the following is highly desirable:
  • AI and chatbot experience
  • Engineering lifecycle management
  • Experience in selling IBM Cloud Packs, RPG and Java development
  • RPG, iSeries, AS400 or a Java development/programming background will be desirable.
  • You will have experience of working for an IT Reseller/MSP selling related services around IBM professional services.On offer is a competitive basic salary coupled with the backing of an experienced professional services team where you will be able to earn £130,000 if successful targets are met.Please apply now for a quick turnaround.
