Job Description

Job Title IB Cirrus Programme Execution Location London Corporate Title Vice President You will be joining the Investment Bank Tech division responsible for the execution of the Cloud Strategy for the group. The cloud strategy is a key priority within the overall technology and business divisions for the bank and a prioritised programme to acceleratethe adoption of the IB tech systems into Googles GCP environment by leveraging the partnership with Google. You will be responsible for the execution of the change programme that delivers the application transformation into the cloud. You will be working across the IB group to oversee the successful migrations inline agreed IB targets. As part of this you will leadthe IB governance including the overall IB Scrum of Scrums (SoS) to ensure effective management and resolution of key RAIDs via both the responsible applications CIOs and the wider Cirrus stakeholders. Your key responsibilities
  • Leading the execution of the core governance underpinning the IB Cloud programme including reporting to the head of Cirrus as well as the CIO for the IB
  • Fostering an environment of transparency & trust with application teams, CIOs, Cloud architects and infra partners to support effective execution
  • Driving a disciplined approach to the agile methodology the underpins the app planning and execution with clearly defined roles and responsibilities across the migrating applications
  • Working closely with the IB Cloud Architecture group to ensure IB delivers on its cloud target state, and we maximise the value of the cloud to technology and the business
  • Being a point of escalation to both the application teams but also the wider cirrus program
Your skills and experience
  • Strong experience of applying program management principle in a very dynamic and complex environment
  • Experience of working within application development teams and going through app development lifecycles (e.g. SRE, Infra as code)
  • Experience of working within agile development
  • Ability to work across senior management, technical engineers and project managers and to navigate organisation silos to achieve the best outcome
  • An understanding of cloud concepts, cloud technologies and how to apply that to business applications
  • An enthusiasm to drive efficiency of process and transparency through tooling and automation
  • Capability to interact successfully in a virtual, multi-vendor and multi-cultural environment
