Job Description

IAM Business Analyst - SailpointRole Synopsis:The Identity & Access Management Programme has a role for a skilled and experienced detail oriented IAM SailPoint Business Analyst, with delivery experience of Information Security projects, operations, and Sailpoint subject matter expertise. Working within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team (part of the wider Information Security Transformation Programme), you will be liaising closely with a range of stakeholders across the organisation.As a Business Analyst within the IAM Project team, you will be responsible for the gathering of requirements, gap analysis and process documentation to facilitate the delivery of strategic SailPoint project. You will work closely with the Project/Programme Manager to ensure a high-quality delivery and to maintain strong stakeholder management.Key Accountabilities:

  • Act as a SailPoint and IAM SME on the project, developing strong, trusting and credible relationships with business functions.
  • Initiate and lead interactions with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather business needs and influence expectations, understanding and processes translating these into clear business requirements.
  • Security function, firm-wide stakeholders, project teams and 3rd party service providers.
  • Facilitate workshops and review sessions to arrive at a consensus, managing any issues or escalating appropriately.
  • Document requirements into business and functional requirement documentation.
  • Represent the IAM programme to key stakeholders, and in co-cordinataion with key stakeholders and team members, prepare and present clear benefits and requests to leaders at all levels to fulfil the IAM delivery requirements.
  • Proactively instigate and lead appropriate engagements with Business users and key stakeholders
  • Assist the project team throughout the project, acting as conduit to the business and clarifying queries.
  • Define the methodology and technology used to plan through implementing the Identity Governance and Access Management (IAM) system
  • Define the applications to IAM integration methodology, facilitating application onboarding to the platform
  • Document phases of the project as well as identify and document the deliverables
  • Develop requirement documentation for SailPoint IdentityNow
  • Educate the Project participants in their roles and responsibilities for IAM
  • Role Identification and access assignment (including RBACth )
  • Identify and document segregation of duties scenarios and compose access control rules (in partnership with compliance teams)
  • Discuss Business Applications with Business owners with a focus on access control requirements
  • Discuss Applications with Application owners with a focus on Access Control requirements
  • Discuss Applicable Policy and regulatory needs with compliance to identify access control requirements
  • Identify access control requirements of the Business
  • Stakeholder management - Advise business in relation to IDM/IAM aspects for the implementation and on-going operation
  • Instigate and lead discussion with business and other stakeholders (including periodic updates) to assess and progress deliverables
  • Solicit feedback and coordinate delivery of feedback to various teams
  • Qualifications and Previous Experience:
  • Experience working on SailPoint implementation projects as a Business Analyst.
  • Experience implementing user access certification, RBAC and user lifecycle management (JML) provisioning.
  • Experience overseeing the onboarding of a large number of applications onto the platform.
  • A minimum of 7 years experience in delivering IT delivery/Information Security projects
  • Educated to degree level in a business-related subject or relevant experience in a business or IT environment.
  • Ability to work positively with the full range of individuals and groups involved in the programme.
  • Comfortable with complex programmes in often ambiguous context and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent Stakeholder management skills and experience at all levels.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with members of the Project team group as well as other IT teams.
  • Driven and enthusiastic with a can-do attitude and a strong sense of ownership to get the job done in a practical and pragmatic fashion without upsetting others.
  • A strong problem solver with a pragmatic and tenacious attitude to seek out resolutions.
  • Proven written and oral communications skills and strong interpersonal skills that can be executed credibly to inspire confidence in you and in the delivery of the project.
  • Strong Technical knowledge including good awareness of current Technology and trends, particularly in relation to IAM.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Skills.
  • Experience of working in a Professional Services environment would be advantageous as would experience of the following:
  • CyberArk, AWS and Azure, Okta, Idaptive
  • ServiceNow, JIRA
  • Experience working for a Consulting company.
