Job Description

Experienced HVAC Engineer required for service, maintenance, installation and breakdown in and around London.The role will mainly be based at prestigious sites in Londons West End but applicants will be required to travel within the South East from timeto time and a vehicle will be provided when working out of the W2 area.The right person for this position will already have a strong working background within Air Conditioning Service and Maintenance with at least 5 years in the industry. Boiler knowledge will be an advantage.Applicants must currently live in London or the home counties and be eligible to work in the UK.A full UK driving license is essential. The post is Monday to Friday with overtime available.Applicants must hold a current F Gas certificate and have a recognised qualification in Air Conditioning and/or Refrigeration with at least 5 years experience.We offer mentoring and opportunities for advanced training courses.Job Role:

  • Provide maintenance, inspection and repair services to air conditioning / ventilation / refrigeration / cooling systems
  • Complete PPM, AHU, VRVs, split systems plus fan coil units
  • Arrange to complete small works, installation and refurbishment of AC and cooling equipment
  • Maintain and manage the records for all HVAC kit on the facility and provide a monitoring service for the critical maintenance schedules including F-Gas record
  • Diagnose faults and use diagnostics tools to ascertain correct solutions
  • Liaise with electrical building services and BMS teams, providing overlap where required
  • Assist with undertaking/allocating general ad-hoc maintenance tasks if and when required
Engineer Requirements:
  • At least 5 years experience of PPMs and reactive work with requisite qualifications including NVQ & FGAS
  • Experience of Air Conditioning and chiller maintenance
  • Building services knowledge, to have been exposed to all aspects of building services including basic electrical knowledge
  • Articulate and presentable with excellent customer facing skills
  • IT literate and good record/data keeping skills
  • Smart & professional with a proactive attitude
  • Must have excellent references
