Our company mission is to play a significant role in solving the global plastic problem, and to be world leaders in chemical recycling. We promote the concept of a Circular Economy of plastics, and we use a patented Thermal Anaerobic Conversion (TAC) technology to convert end-of-life and valueless plastics into a product known as TACOIL, which chemical/petrochemical companies can transform back into food-grade recycled plastics.Plastic Energy has established offices in London and Madrid, and regional offices in Singapore and Malaysia. We currently own two chemical recycling plants in Spain operating at commercial scale, several projects underway in Western Europe, and new developments defined in South East Asia.We are now seeking an HR Manager to join us at the start of March 2021 to cover a period of maternity leave for 8 -12 months. You will be joining our UK team of around 50 people. Ordinarily, this role would be carried out from our office near St Paul’s, with some home-working available; however the position may be predominantly home-based until we fully re-open our office to all our staff. We’re looking for a candidate who has strong HR management and payroll experience, ideally having acted in a stand-alone capacity, and who enjoys a generalist role. This is a busy and challenging position in a friendly and fast-moving business, which will give you the opportunity to work across departments and regions, and to continue developing our HR processes and strategy to support the evolution of our company. It would suit an adaptable, approachable and diligent individual who would like to provide meaningful input into an emerging and sustainable sector, and who is comfortable taking responsibility for their workload and its outcomes.
