Job Description

The HSE and Facilities Assistant on site will be required to provide high-quality Facilities service for AAT staff, visitors and oversee the health and safety on site.Client DetailsThe client is a professional body for accounting technicians or individuals looking to gain qualifications for a career in accounting.DescriptionThe key responsibilities including:- Health and Safety- Hot desks- Space planning- Catering assistance- Email in-box management- Overseeing contractors (their HSE/compliance)- Collate reports and carry out investigations into any accidents, near misses and hazards that occur on site.- Work closely with the HSE and FM.- Ensure all staff complete DSE assessments and provide any guidance and equipment to staff where appropriate.- Record all DSE assesments including WFH and Hot desk versions- Manage equipment and furniture- Ensure all meeting room booking and procedures are correctly followed - monitoring them and ensuring technical support and refreshments/catering is ready for any upcoming meetings- Planned preventative maintenance- Customer service- Maintain good relationships with internal and external individuals on site- Review and improve processes in accordance to customer feedback- Manage stationary- Catering- Oversee courier services with external providers ensuring excellent service is delivered- Liaise with cleaning and maintenance teams to ensure that all rules are being adhered tooProfileThe successful candidate must- Be proactive- Have HSE and facilities experience in a commercial environment- First Aid Qualification- Fire warden Qualification- DSE Assesor- Be immediately available or have a maximum weeks notice- Have a strong understanding of Teams/Excel/PowerPoint/Forms- DSE experience- Health and Safety qualifications- Experience working with subcontractors and contractorsJob OfferA competitive hourly margin, convenient and aesthetically pleasing location/building, supportive team with training provided, 4 work days a week - total 28 hour weeks, ongoing contract
