Job Description

Work for an international bank in a specialist HR policy and governance position. Reporting into the Head of Shared Services, the successful candidate will operate autonomously with the support from the wider HR Shared Services team and specialist EmployeeRelations team.This role will be focussed on UK policy and governance, ensuring that legislation is complied with and communicated efficiently and effectively.Initially a 6 month interim role, there is strong potential for this role to convert to a permanant position for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development of UK HR policies
  • Make sure that policies are maintained and updated accordingly
  • Lead on projects and working groups to integrate global policies where applicable
  • Act as the main point of contact for different policy matter working groups, presenting research reports and administering minutes
  • Coordinate annual reviews
  • Prepare research and reports on changes to legislations that might influence company policy changes
  • Lead internal stakeholder engagement meetings to source information and feedback on internal policies and industry standard
  • Lead on specific policy roll outs across different areas
  • Review various HR related contracts and lead on GDPR compliance across HR
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Knowdlege across HR
  • Experience advising on HR policies
  • Expereince working in financial services is desirable
  • Knowledge of working in a regulated industry
  • Knowdlege of UK employment law and employee relations
  • Experience managing internal stakeholders
  • Strong communication and presenation skills
  • Able to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Skills
This role will sit in London and operate with a hybrid working policy.Open to considering candidates on a full-time of part-time basis.This position will initially be paid on a day rate, sitting inside IR35.The SR Group (UK) Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
