HR & Payroll System Implementation LeadLondon / Remote9 Months ContractCirca £65,000 + BenefitsOur client a leading Public Sector organisation is seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Professional to Lead the Project Management of the HR & Payroll Project part of a wider Finance and HR programme. We are specifically seeking someone with significant Project Management of an ERP / HCM / Systems Implementation / Transformation programme covering HR and Payroll.In summary the role will be responsible for driving and overseeing the delivery of the project to implementation a new system to transform the services offered across HR. You will have a key role in the project governance. working with stakeholders, to ensure the agreed project outputs are delivered to enable benefit realisation. A key component of the role is your ability to work with the various areas in the People Directorate and the business to ensure excellent process architecture is in place, delivering the required outcomes. This will support the transition from the current ways of working, adopting legacy systems, to new ways of working to support implementation of the new system, and any other changes to process or policy transforming services. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*Delivery - Create and lead the project to deliver the agreed outcomes within time, cost and quality constraints.*Project Management - Day to day management and leadership of the project and the project team. Provide effective leadership and management controls. Set project controls. Design the project structure and organisation appropriate to stage. Set appropriate delivery methodologies. Manage effective transition between project phases.*Project Performance & Controls - Cascade vision and translate into delivery objectives for the team. Develop and maintain Project Plan. Identify and set appropriate Project Controls. Manage performance and report progress to sponsors.*Budget - Support the Programme Board tracking delivery within budget.*Resources - Identify skill requirements; and deploy and develop resources. *Benefits Realisation - Deliver the agreed Business Case benefits and outcomes. Ensure appropriate Benefits Realisation Strategy is in place and monitor longer term delivery of benefits against the Business Case.*Stakeholder Management - Identify and manage stakeholder relationships.*Risks - Identify and monitor project risks, develop mitigating actions and escalate as appropriate. *Governance - Support effective governance and decision making. Provide reporting and engage in mechanisms that hold the Project and Process Lead, to account for delivery.*Assurance - Engage with assurance reviews and support action on recommendations. *Change Management - Ensure effective Change Management processes are in place to agree and document changes to deliverables as agreed with stakeholders.*Guidance & Support - Provide support, guidance and coaching for the project team. *Process architecture - Provide support to the directorate to establish robust process mapping for current ways of working and the assessment of change and transition to new ways of working, enabling process improvement.*Deputise as required for the Programme Lead.Applicant must have*Previous and recent project management experience of an ERP / HCM / Systems Implementation / Transformation programme covering HR and Payroll.*Ideally you will have / be - PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile Project Management Practitioner, APM Practitioner Qualification, APM Registered Project Professional, Project Leadership Programme, or equivalent experience.*Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent experience would be advantageousAGY - Vitae Financial RecruitmentWe Exist To Be Different - Membership NOT Registration Required skills
