Job Description

HR & Operations Manager | Scaling TV & Film Business | LondonWe are proud to have been retained by a scaling Post-Production and Visual Effects (VFX) who are looking for a hybrid HR & Operations Manager.The Client Our client has quickly become renowned in their field for working with a host of incredible clients ranging from TV production businesses, Film companies and Gaming studios. They provide a boutique VFX and Post-Production service which is highly-regardedas industry leading.There are around 60 employees and the company is looking to scale quickly year-on-year, this presents a fantastic opportunity to get in at a pivotal moment in their growth journey and have a significant role in scaling the business.The business is known for their flat-structure, agile working environment and dynamic workplace. They operate a hybrid working from home model and the culture is fun, energetic and non-corporate.The Role In terms of the role, you will be reporting into the UK MD and liaising closely with members of the Global HR team, but take full responsibility for the Human Resources function in the London studio. There are fantastic development opportunities, as thebusiness continues to scale you will have the opportunity to build out a team and broaden your scope of duties. Youll be responsible for overseeing HR Operations such as managing new starters, implementing career development processes and leading on companywellbeing initiatives.HR responsibilities are around 75% of the position, with 25% being more Operations focussed, roles will include supporting with potential office moves, managing contracts with external providers and overseeing company events.This is a fantastic role for anyone keen to work at a fantastic, non-corporate and growing company in the VFX and Post-Production industry.Responsibilities

  • Creating Professional Development Plans.
  • Overseeing and implementing new procedures to support career progression.
  • Taking a lead role on company wellbeing initiatives.
  • Developing and building out a team.
  • Managing the appraisal and salary review processes.
  • Constantly driving operational and procedural efficiencies and improvements.
  • Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the London Studio.
  • Managing contracts with external service providers.
  • Ad-hoc duties to support the leadership team.
What we need to see (essential)
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in a Human Resources role.
What we would like to see (bonus)
  • Prior experience in a hybrid HR and Operations
  • Previous work in the TV, Film, Media, Music and Entertainment
