The Royal Academy of Music is a creative and vibrant workplace with a diverse mix of students and staff from over 60 countries. Integral to the musical training we offer is the opportunity to perform; in an average year, the Academy runs a vibrant programme ofaround 500 events.We are looking for an experienced HRIS Specialist to join our small but friendly and pro-active HR team. You will be the custodian of the new HR information system, iTrent, and all HR and pay data. During the initial implementation stage,you will join the implementation project team, supporting the Project Manager, Payroll Manager, and HR Manager to implement and embed iTrent across HR, Payroll, Finance and to the wider institution via self-service and online recruitment.Following implementation,you will be lead on all matters relating to the system, maintaining its accuracy and effectiveness, ensuring the timely and accurate production of information on all aspects of the employee lifecycle. This new and exciting role will be integral to the HR teamand will work closely with Payroll and Finance. You will provide a friendly, efficient and professional service to all staff, students and visitors, in-person, online and by telephone, and you will enjoy helping others to get the most out of the system.Tobe successful in this busy and challenging role, you will have previous experience of using iTrent to improve processes and system functionality, and have experience of system set-up and implementation. Ideally, you will have experience of working within highereducation or the arts, in addition to general HR experience. You will enjoy working with data relating to people metrics, including pay, and have a meticulous eye for detail and accuracy. You will have a positive, can-do approach and an aptitude for genuineand engaging customer service.
