HR Director - International Finance & Logistics

Job Description

The Responsibilities of the New HR Director will be:

  • Recruitment of employees for new and existing vacant positions through internal and external advertising, and the use of head-hunters and agencies.
  • Job design of all changed and new positions with the functional heads.
  • To act as an advisor to the CEO on all people related matters.
  • To design and update all reward programmes, covering salary reviews, bonuses, short and long term retention schemes.
  • To ensure that reward is comparable and competition to retain and recruit the correct calibre of employees.
  • To maintain the appropriate benefits in each country with annual negotiation with suppliers (Healthcare, Insurance, Pension).
  • To keep a careful hand on the organisational culture across the world
  • To manage the HR and marcomms budgets (total annual spend $2.1M).
  • To help supervise the consistency of brand image across the world.
  • To manage all the global office leases and to be aware of our exposure at all times.
  • To design and develop training and development interventions for global, individual or country/function-based groups.
  • To provide to the finance function all people centric costs and budgets for all departments /locations.
  • To report to the board on HR matters.
  • Take responsibility for design and maintenance of performance management system across the company.
The Successful Candidate will be:
  • FCIPD (preferably)
  • Culturally sensitive and attuned to the needs of a modern, forward thinking business
  • Have wide ranging knowledge of Employment law in all employing jurisdictions.
  • Familiar with the needs and requirements of an international business
  • Flush with training & development experience.
  • An established HR Director with a background in Financial Services and/or Logistics
  • In possession of a track record of having worked with a senior management team and in particular a CEO
