Job Description

Reed HR are working alongside a large and well known Educational Establishment based in Central London who are recruiting for an experienced HR Coordinator on a permanent basis.Job Summary- This role is a true generalist role with key focus on providing assistance to the HR Team, and HR stakeholders.- To be responsible for advising managers on HR related issues such as recruitment, onboarding, and payroll.- To ensure that all HR policies and practices are applied fairly and consistently across theestablishment.- Responsible for coordinating both induction and probation processes- To work with the People and Development Manager on other areas of HR such as Equality and Diversity, employee engagement, pay and rewards, organisational culture, and management development.Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the recruitment processes including, advertising roles through to onboarding.
  • To support managers through the probation period.
  • To advise managers and staff on terms and conditions of employment and legislation relevant to specific policies and procedures.
  • To provide information and guidance to managers and staff in relation to the companypolicies and procedures, including maternity, paternity, shared parental leave.
  • To advise managers on absence management issues, providing guidance on the sickness absence policy, legal obligations and liaise with the external occupational health provider.
  • To produce contracts for all new starters and continuing student staff
  • To ensure all new starters have a meaningful induction and to facilitate termly Induction Sessions in conjunction with the Head of People and Development.
HR Administration
  • Provide payroll with new starter and leaver information on a monthly basis.
  • Provide payroll cover as and when required
  • Completing the administration and compliance activities involved with the New Starter, Leaver and Employee Change processes.
  • To support staff in resolving issues on the HR System (Carval) such as annual leave queries and new starter access.
Employee Wellbeing
  • Work with the People and Development manager to run the organisationswellbeing program for staff which includes administration of our weekly fruit and milk deliveries and healthy lunch club
  • Work with the HR team to develop ideas for organisation wide events such as Christmas party and development days.
  • Administer occupation health and employee assistance programs
  • Work with the People and Development manager to improve the wellbeing and work-life balance of the organisationsstaff.
  • Support the development of a reward and recognition scheme.
