Job Description

As an HR Business Partner, you will play a crucial role by contributing to the development of the wider People Strategy, delivering keyHR initiatives across the HR spectrum, including workforce planning, restructuring, resourcing, talent management, pay and reward, employee relations, employee engagement, and performance management.Key Responsibilities:Business Partnering:

  • Develop and implement HR solutions that align with the organisations strategy.
  • Provide generalist HR support across designated business areas.
  • Deliver HR best practices and solutions that support business needs.
  • Offer guidance on legal and policy issues to line managers.
  • Drive continuous improvement and proactive risk management within your areas of responsibility.
  • Support recruitment and selection, staff engagement, and the performance management process.
  • Maintain and update employee data and documentation in compliance with data protection policies.
  • Provide data and metrics to measure policy effectiveness and support continuous improvement.
Employee Relations:
  • Provide specialist advice and guidance on employee relations throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Support managers in conducting independent investigations and producing quality reports.
  • Advise and support group and individual consultations during restructures and change management.
  • Collaborate with L&D colleagues to deliver training interventions and events for staff and managers.
About You:
  • Solid knowledge of Employment law.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified, Level 7 desirable.
  • Knowledge of current HR issues and trends with evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Considerable experience working within an HR team as a generalist advisor or Business Partner.
  • Proven track record in successfully managing complex employee relations issues.
  • Experience of working in a charitable organisation is desirable.
