Job Description

Overview of HR Business Partner Role:This exciting permanent and hybrid working position (3:2) based in the City of London, working for a leading global financial services firm will support the Global Head of Merchant Banking HR and play a key role in various HR processes, from recruitmentto employee lifecycle management.Youll also be a part of global HR projects, making this a dynamic and rewarding opportunity.Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Induction: Collaborate on recruitment and onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires.
  • Employee Relations: Assist in resolving employee issues and maintain accurate records.
  • Administrative Support: Support investigations and formal processes as needed.
  • Administrative Aspects: Manage long-term absences and HR system updates.
  • Performance Review and Compensation: Contribute to annual reviews and calibration meetings.
  • Mobility: Help with visa applications and related procedures.
  • Leavers: Assist in the leaver process and communication.
  • Miscellaneous: Work on HR data, reports, and projects to support the HR strategy.
Experience, Skills, and Competencies Required:
  • A-Level education or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of HR experience, preferably in Financial Services.
  • Strong generalist skills, including employee relations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in IT tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
