Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join a growing property company, with an office in the West End, as an HR Assistant/Administrator. You will work as part of a small HR team, who are supportive and keen to offer training and development opportunities for the rightperson.Initially you will be based at home, until they plan on returning to the office in September, at which point you will most likely move to a mixture of remote and office working for the time being.The successful candidate will have at least 6 months experience working as part of an HR team, ideally working towards CIPD level 3 and will have a good basic level of understanding of HR terminology and processes.Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Provide general HR administration, and advice and support on all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
  • Provide organisational and administration support to the HR Manager and team.
  • Monitor HR & Recruitment inboxes and distribute or follow up as appropriate.
  • Input, update, and monitor HR systems and maintain up to date records for all employees.
  • Assist in administration of all HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the recruitment process;
    • Recording and updating agency terms and maintain relationships.
    • Placing adverts & updating recruitment records.
    • Co-ordinate interviews, ensuring panellist and candidates have all the necessary information.
  • Assist with inductions and onboarding of new starters, including relevant bookings, systems updates, follow ups and welcomes.
  • Administration of the leavers process.
  • Assistance with Payroll and Benefits.
  • Maintain up to date records of training providers, training costs, agreements and bookings and arrange / facilitate training bookings.
  • Assist with note taking and typing up of meeting notes.
  • Assist in dealing with routine questions relating to terms and conditions of employment and standard policies and procedures.
  • Run off reports and circulate these as required.
  • Take part and assist with work for various committees.
  • Assist with the annual appraisals, including booking and chasing outstanding items.
