Job Description

Join Close Brothers HR team where you will be providing advisory and transactional support to managers and employees within the Bank. RESPONSIBILITIESOperational

  • Preparing new starter contracts and offer documentation working with Recruitment Business Partners to ensure an effective and smooth onboarding for both the candidate and line manager
  • Delivering key HR processes including processing employee changes and leavers in a timely manner
  • Processing statutory leave requests and providing advice as required to managers and employees
  • Reviewing and updating HR systems to ensure accurate data and MI can be maintained and produced
  • Producing ad hoc reports for managers and project teams as requested
Advisory/Support/ Project
  • Acting as key point of contact for HR queries, providing guidance on HR policy, process and operating procedures to employees and managers
  • Escalating any sensitive issues to the HR BP as appropriate
  • Answering email and telephone queries from employees, managers and HR BPs or escalate as appropriate
  • Carrying out exit interviews and feedback to the HR BP and Line Manager.
  • Analysing exit interviews and reviewing thematically, producing analysis to be shared with the Senior HRBP and leadership teams
  • Carrying out note taking for employee relations meetings as required by the HRBP within a timely manner
Compliance
  • Ensuring that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required

  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships quickly
  • Ability to manage work requests working to tight timescales whilst maintaining high quality and accuracy
  • Very strong demonstrable Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Demonstrable right-first-time approach to delivering exceptional customer experience.
